Why Volunteer With Faith and Hope Independent Living, LLC?

Volunteers play a vital and much valued role in many of the services provided by Faith and Hope Independent Living, LLC. Without volunteers, many of our programs would not exist. Faith and Hope Independent Living, LLC. has a range of volunteering opportunities and is committed to matching volunteers with opportunities that best meet their needs and interests. Volunteers are needed for as little as three hours per month.
As a valued volunteer, you might like to become a companion to a person with a disability, transport people with a disability to leisure activities, share an occasional weekend with a person with a disability to give a family a break or provide support at recreational camps.
Faith and Hope Independent Living, LLC. volunteers range in age from 16 years to retirement age and all volunteers over 18 years will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check before beginning their volunteering role, at no cost. Volunteers interested in working with young and elderly people, will also be required to complete and submit Working With Disables Background Check and Criminal Record Check forms.
New volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation training session before beginning their volunteering role. These sessions are a valuable and essential step in the process of becoming a volunteer with Faith and Hope Independent Living, LLC. Volunteers receive valuable information and ongoing training opportunities to develop new skills.
Volunteers are reimbursed for expenses incurred in providing voluntary services and are covered by personal accident insurance.
